Complete Blood Count (CBC)- The CBC is a broad screening of the blood. It is a series of tests of the peripheral blood that provides information about the hematologic system and many other organ systems. It can give information about overall health and help diagnose many conditions. The CBC should be part of a regular heath screen. The CBC measures the following: Hematocrit; hemoglobin; mean corpuscular volume (MCV); mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH); mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC); red cell distribution width (RDW); percentage and absolute differential counts; platelet count; red cell count (RBC); white blood cell count (WBC).

Urinalysis (UA)- The UA is a broad screening of the urine, a waste product made by the kidneys. It involves multiple routine tests on a urine specimen. It can give information about overall health and help diagnose many conditions. The UA should be part of a regular health screen. The UA measures the following: Color, appearance, specific gravity, pH, protein, glucose, occult blood, ketones, leukocyte esterase, nitrite, bilirubin, urobilinogen, and microscopic examination of urine sediment.

Lipid Panel (Cholesterol)- A lipid panel is a blood test that measures lipids-fats and fatty substances used as a source of energy in your body. The lipid panel measures cholesterol, which is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells. It's normal to have cholesterol, but too much cholesterol in the blood is a major risk for coronary heart disease (which leads to heart attack) and for stroke. Therefore, knowing the facts about cholesterol can reduce your risk for a heart attack or stroke. The lipid panel measures the following: Cholesterol, total; high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol; low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (calculation); triglycerides; very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) cholesterol (calculation).

Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP)- A basic metabolic panel is a blood test that measures your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and fluid balance, and kidney function. The BMP panel is an important part of a regular health examination and it is used to help diagnose certain medical conditions. The BMP measures the following: BUN; BUN:creatinine ratio; calcium, serum; carbon dioxide, total; chloride, serum; creatinine, serum; glucose, serum; potassium, serum; sodium, serum.

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)- A comprehensive metabolic panel is a blood test that measures your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function, and liver function. The CMP panel is an important part of a regular health examination and it is used to diagnose certain medical conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. The CMP measures the following: Alanine aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT); albumin:globulin (A:G) ratio; albumin, serum; alkaline phosphatase, serum; aspartate aminotransferase (AST/SGOT); bilirubin, total; BUN; BUN:creatinine ratio; calcium, serum; carbon dioxide, total; chloride, serum; creatinine, serum; globulin, total; glucose, serum; potassium, serum; protein, total, serum; sodium, serum.

Thyroid Panel- The thyroid gland produces hormones that influence almost all of the metabolic processes in the body. There can be many issues with the thyroid gland ranging from a harmless thyroid nodule that needs no treatment to cancer of the thyroid. A thyroid screening can help to diagnose certain thyroid conditions. The thyroid panel measures the following: Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Thyroid-Stimulating Immunoglobulin (TSI) and the T3 Uptake.

Drug Testing- A drug test is a technical examination of a urine, blood or hair sample to determine the presence or absence of specified drugs or their metabolized traces. We offer both a 5-panel and 7-panel drug screen. The 5-panel drug abuse profile tests for the following: Amphetamines; cannabinoids (marijuana); cocaine metabolite; creatinine; opiates; pH and nitrite; phencyclidine (PCP); 6-acetylmorphine (if morphine is positive). The 7-panel drug abuse profile tests for the following: Amphetamines; barbiturates; benzodiazepines; cannabinoids (marijuana); cocaine; ethanol; opiates (codeine, morphine only); phencyclidine (PCP).
